Impact Report 2024: Doubling Our Reach and Inspiring the Next Generation of Conservationists

As 2024 comes to a close, we are satisfied to look back at a year of growth, meaningful impact, and strengthened partnerships in the field of environmental education. This year we not only doubled our reach but also made significant strides in empowering young minds to become active participants in wildlife conservation and sustainability efforts. Our commitment to environmental stewardship has never been stronger and the results from 2024 are a testament to the collective efforts of our supporters, partners, educators, and students.

In 2024, we achieved a milestone, engaging 15,986 students across 87 schools, more than double our reach from previous years. This impressive expansion allowed us to bring vital environmental education to communities in every corner of the region, directly impacting young learners with the knowledge and tools needed to make a difference in protecting the planet.

We worked alongside 591 teachers, equipping them with the resources and expertise to integrate wildlife conservation and sustainability topics into their classrooms. This network of passionate educators helped create a ripple effect, extending the reach of our programs far beyond the individual students, as they fostered an ethos of environmental responsibility in their school communities.

Our teacher sensitization workshops were a cornerstone of our growth in 2024. These workshops provided teachers with specialized training on how to effectively teach conservation topics, create impactful learning experiences, and integrate real-world environmental issues into their curricula. By equipping educators with this knowledge, we not only strengthened our partnerships with schools but also ensured that our message was carried forward in classrooms throughout the region.

The success of these workshops garnered significant media attention, bringing our work to the forefront of public discussions on the importance of environmental education. The increased visibility allowed us to forge new partnerships and expand our influence ensuring that conservation education remains a priority in local communities.
